Lengthy Travel Delays Expected Again on North Atherton Street

A traffic pattern change for PennDOT’s North Atherton Street project is expected to cause long traffic delays on Monday.

Between Cherry Lane and Curtin Road, the current long-term closure on the far-right side of Atherton Street traveling toward the university will be removed and reinstalled on the left side.

“Expect lengthy delays on Monday, August 12 for the traffic control switch to take place due to line eradication and line painting operations taking time,” a PennDOT news release said.
